The free app is not only a great way to get to know your new favorite trail, but also allows you to download your routes ahead of time, read reviews, get trail conditions, and of course map your route along the way.

Big South Fork - Oneida, TN

Boasting miles of scenic sandstone bluffs and river gorges, Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area protects the natural beauty of the Big South Fork of the Cumberland River and its tributaries. Covering 125,000 rugged acres of the Cumberland Plateau and spanning the states of Kentucky and Tennesee, the park is rich with history and nature, and the land has been developed to provide visitors with a multitude of recreational opportunities. Enjoy the views of pristine streams and impressive chimneys, arches, and cliffs that have been carved from the sandstone of the plateau.

Lake Norman - Troutman, NC

Lake Norman State Park offers a beautiful, forested trail system that winds around the lake and is full of dips, berms, bench cuts and gully runs that were built into and around its hilly river valley terrain. Most of the trails are fairly easy with the occasional steep climb up fun drainage creeks where the trail crosses.

Douthat State Park - Clifton Forge, VA

Douthat State Park (pronounced "doubt-that") is a gem in the Appalachian Mountains of south central Virginia. The park encompasses more than 4,500 acres and, in addition, is surrounded by the George Washington National Forest, offering many opportunities for backcountry exploration. Within the park boundaries, you'll find over 40 miles of trails to match whatever level of challenge you choose.

Sherman Branch - Cedar Brook, NC

One of the closest trails to Charlotte, yet it's out in the country. The Tarheel Trailblazers have done an excellent job adding and maintaining berms, skinnys, rock gardens, a dinosaur back, a few ladder bridges and drops as well. Fun for all levels as there are options for all of the obstacles.

Mulberry Gap - Pleasant Hill, GA

This ride features a long dirt road climb so that most of the singletrack is downhill. But the uphills never really stop! The best way to do this ride is to spend a night or more at Mulberry Gap MTB getaway. This is the start and end of this ride. The Mulberry Gap folks specially cater to cyclists.

Bull Mountain - Nimblewill, GA

Located at the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, the Bull Mountain and Jake Mountain trail network includes more than 50 miles of great riding, including an IMBA Epic route that covers a good chunk of the trails. You'll get little bit of everything - red clay singletrack, loose rocks, take-off-your-shoes stream crossings, and some steep, sustained climbs.
