Chad's first job was sweeping the floors at Schererville Schwinn just outside of Chicago way back in 1995. After 20+ years as a skilled bike technician, Chad and Annmarie fulfilled a lifelong dream to open their own store in the mountains of East TN. Annmarie was his coach, and that's how the two met.

Tannery Knobs-29

While she may have been born in the Midwest, Annmarie is a mountain girl by heart. As an accomplished runner, she has participated in everything from the Boston marathon to the Leadville 100. She's been hooked on MTB ever since her first trip to DuPont State Forest. Syd

A Johnson City native, Sydney is the brains behind our rides and events. With a degree in geology, she is no stranger to the outdoors. From commuting to mountain biking, Sydney finds herself on 2 wheels as much as possible. Lind-II

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Lindsey has found a new home in Johnson City. With a lifetime in the outdoor industry, she fell in love with mountain biking on day 1 (ok, maybe day 2). A firm believer that your kit always looks pro, Lindsey also helps keep our apparel on point. Jesse

Living in Knoxville for most of his life, Jesse moved to the area about ten years ago. He's been mountain biking for 20+ years and is new to the industry, but loves getting as many people on bikes as possible and making cycling more prevalent in Johnson City. Jacob

As a member of the ETSU downhill team, Jacob gets gravity. While completing a Chemistry degree at ETSU, he's been working in the bike industry for years in his hometown of Clarksville, TN. Knobby the Adventure Van

Born in 1979, Knobby (aka Knobs) spent his early years traveling the country at 45mph in search of the worlds best gnar.  As an avid mountain bike aficionado, Knobby has shuttled bikes everywhere from Slickrock to Whistler before taking a brief hiatus to "find himself" in the mountains of East TN.  With a fresh coat of paint (and a little rehab), Knobby joined the Trek JC team in 2017 and couldn't be happier to once again be back doing what he loves...

Fun Facts: 
- Knobby's father once worked as a chauffeur for a music festival in New York

 - Being fuel injected, he works with several charities for vans still effected by carburetors

 - Even though most of his family immigrated to the United States from Germany, Knobby was actually born in Mexico
